Ice King's Past Chapter 1

The sun was setting in Scandinavia. The sky was mixed with purples,oranges,and pinks. Anita and Daniel Petrikov were happily discussing baby names, in front of the fireplace. Both were the age 34. Anita was a woman with a medium height,skinny tan skin, and long brown hair. Daniel was a tall man, with light brown skin, black hair, and he wore glasses. (Anita, and Daniel are Simon's parents. I made their names up since nobody knows their real names) They were having a boy that was due in about a week.
"What should we name him Daniel?" Anita asked her husband.
"Hmm.. I want our son to be recognized easily. How about Simon? It means "To be heard". "
Anita smiled. "That's perfect. Simon Petrikov."
"I'm sure he will grow up and be an intelligent person." Anita told Daniel.
"Yes, just like us." He replied.
"But I'm worried that I won't make it through when I give birth.." Anita said sadly. Daniel stroked her hand.
"Anita, I know your weak.. But we can do this! I know we can." Daniel told her trying to be confident.
"I hope your right." She replied.

**1 Week Later**

Anita woke up in bed having terrible cramps. She knew her baby was due this current week, so she quickly woke up her husband.

"Daniel. Wake up, I think the baby is coming..!" She said shaking at him to wake up. Daniel woke up and looked at his wife.
"Is it the baby?" He asked.
"Yes, I need to get to a hospital." She said trying not to panic. Daniel quickly got out of bed, helped his wife too the car, and took her to the hospital as fast as possible.
When they got into the car Anita was sobbing from all the pain. "It's going to be alright. You can do this." Daniel kept telling her.
**At the hospital**

They finally reached the hospital, and a nurse started working with them immediately.

"Alright now.. Daniel, I need you to comfort and encourage your wife as much as possible while she pushes." The nurse told him. Daniel nodded, and walked over too the hospital bed Anita laid in.  The nurse looked at Anita.

"I'm going to count to 10 for every push. When I get too 10 you need to try your hardest and push your baby out. Got it?" Anita nodded at the nurse, and she began counting.
"1..2..3..4..5..6..7..8..9..10.." Anita pushed, but kept losing consciousness and this occurred off and on until she finally gave birth.

"The baby's out!" The nurse said happily as she took him off the bed. The nurse wrapped him in a blue blanket, and handed him too Daniel. Daniel went back over to the bed where Anita lay. His face went from a grin to a frown. "Anita..! Anita..Wake up, Our baby is here. Simon is here!" Daniel couldn't seem to get her attention, she was out cold. So he decided to go get the nurse. When they came in the machine that was hooked up her was reading her heartbeat very low. Then the nurse got a lot of other nurses to help out, but it was no use.After about 15 minutes of trying, Anita's heartbeat lowered by the minute..and eventually Anita was gone.
