Backstory : Shizuka is a quiet, timid teenage girl who cries easily, especially after the loss of her loving mother.  She was born in Japan, but moved to England at the age of 6. . she recently moved back to Japan after her mother died in a shooting. . . Her father thought it would be a good idea to move back and get a fresh start. Her father is a wealthy artist and her mother was a jewelry designer before she passed away.

How she met the Host Club : She accidentally stumbled into the Host Club while looking for a place to practice her guitar. . It was a music room and all. . But when she stepped inside, she was welcomed by the 'Princely' type, Tamaki Suoh. Since she was so shy, she kindly tried to explain to the club that she didn't mean to walk in on their club room. . . Haruhi tells them to back off, and that they are making her feel uncomfortable. . After this, she leaves and finds a different music room to practice in . . . .

A few hours later, Tamaki is looking for her, he wants to apologize for his behavior.

*An Hour Later* Tamaki comes in the music room and finds her playing a sad song on her acoustic guitar. . . He silently listens to her play the song, amazed by her talent. . . When she finishes playing, she takes notice of Tamaki and starts to blush, wondering how long he had been standing there. . . Tamaki apologizes for his earlier behavior and compliments her talent with music. . After this, she feels a bit less shy around him. . .
